Students planning to pursue a career in law now have an important opportunity as the Higher Education Commission has officially started registrations for the Law Admission Test 2026. The test is compulsory for candidates who wish to secure admission in five-year LLB degree programs offered by universities and law colleges across Pakistan.
According to the latest announcement, the online registration portal will remain open until May 25, 2026. Applicants are being encouraged to complete their registration process well before the deadline to avoid technical issues or last-minute delays.
The admission test is scheduled to take place on June 21, 2026. Only students who successfully clear the examination will be eligible to apply for undergraduate law programs in recognized institutions nationwide.
Students can submit their applications through the official HEC online portal. The commission has also advised candidates to carefully review all instructions and required details before submitting their forms.
With thousands of students expected to appear this year, the LAT remains one of the most important steps for anyone aiming to enter Pakistan’s legal profession and build a future in advocacy, judiciary, or corporate law.
