Iran has once again issued a firm warning to the United States, saying the country is fully prepared to respond to any possible aggression. The latest statement came from Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, who said Tehran’s armed forces are ready for every scenario and would deliver a response that could surprise its opponents.

His comments appeared shortly after former US President Donald Trump reacted to Iran’s latest position regarding ongoing ceasefire discussions. Trump claimed the fragile truce between both sides remains under serious pressure after Tehran reportedly rejected parts of a new American proposal.

Iran Says Its Demands Are “Legitimate”

Iranian officials insist their demands are based on national rights and regional stability. During a media briefing, Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei stated that Iran wants an end to conflict in the Middle East, protection of its shipping routes, and the release of Iranian assets frozen in foreign banks for years.

He also stressed the importance of secure trade routes in the Strait of Hormuz and said Tehran is seeking peace and stability across the region rather than escalation.

Nuclear Program Remains Non-Negotiable

Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization also made it clear that the country’s nuclear technology and uranium enrichment program are not open for negotiation. Officials say the issue is considered a matter of national sovereignty and scientific progress.

The statement signals that Tehran is unlikely to back down from its nuclear stance despite increasing international pressure.

Pakistan Continues Role in Peace Efforts

Pakistan remains involved as a mediator between Iran and the United States. Reports suggest Tehran recently delivered its latest peace proposal through Pakistani channels in hopes of moving negotiations forward.

Earlier talks held in Islamabad after the April ceasefire reportedly failed to produce a final agreement, but diplomatic communication between both sides is still ongoing.

Regional Situation Still Uncertain

The ceasefire between Iran, the United States, and Israel was reached after weeks of intense conflict earlier this year. However, tensions continue to rise as both Washington and Tehran exchange warnings and political messages.

Analysts believe the coming weeks could be critical for regional peace, especially as negotiations remain unresolved and military rhetoric grows stronger.
