Chairing the fourth meeting of the PERA force, the Chief Minister also ordered a rigorous scrutiny process for 4,000 officers to ensure transparency and accountability.

Strengthening Internal Accountability

During the session, CM Maryam Nawaz emphasized that the provincial government is prioritizing integrity. She directed authorities to upgrade internal intelligence and whistleblower mechanisms to weed out corruption.

“The record of every official will be thoroughly examined,” the Chief Minister stated. While assuring honest personnel that they have nothing to fear, she warned that those involved in wrongdoing should prepare for strict legal action. She further ordered exemplary punishment for individuals found defaming the reputation of the force.
